Celebrity Jeopardy is back with an all-new episode as three more celebrities battle it out in the quarterfinals to win prize money for the charity of their choice. Playing on January 12 are PattonOswalt, Candace Parker and Torrey DeVitto. Get to know more about them below, plus see some photos from the upcoming episode.
Patton Oswalt is an actor and stand-up comedian. In the world of television, he’s known for his roles as Spence Olchin on The King of Queens and for narrating The Goldbergs as adult Adam F. Goldberg. The 53-year-old won a Primetime Emmy award for “Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special” and a Grammy Award for “Best Comedy Album” for his 2016 Netflix special Patton Oswalt: Talking for Clapping. He was married to late wife Michelle McNamara from 2005-2016. In 2017, Patton married actress Meredith Salenger.
In celebration of their fifth anniversary, Patton posted this tribute to wife Meredith, writing: “5 years ago today. At pretty much this exact time. @meredithsalenger, living beam of sunshine. Love you baby.”
Candace Parker is a professional basketball player with the WNBA. At 6’4”, the 36-year-old has been an asset throughout her years on the court. Currently, she plays for the Chicago Sky, but was previously with the Los Angeles Sparks, as well as international teams UMMC Ekaterinburg, the Guangdong Dolphins, Fenerbahçe and the Xinjiang Tianshan Deers. She was previously married to NBA player Shelden Williams; they have one daughter. Candace is now married to Anna Petrakova, a Russian basketball player, and they welcomed a son in 2022.

Torrey DeVitto is an actress and advocate. In 2022, she held lead roles in Rip in Time on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Twas the Night Before Christmas on Hallmark Channel. Prior to that, fans may have seen her on Chicago Med, Pretty Little Liars, One Tree Hill, The Vampire Diaries, Army Wives or Beautiful People. Outside of acting, Torrey’s passionate about animal rights, women’s rights and overall wellness. She also loves to travel, often posting her trips on Instagram, where she has 1 million followers.
According to ABC’s official synopsis: “Celebrities Patton Oswalt, Candace Parker and Torrey DeVitto test their knowledge while battling for their chance at the $1 million grand prize.” It’s a lot of money on the line as each celebrity will see how much they know about a variety of topics. Pretty much anything goes, and host Mayim Bialik will be alongside them to reveal the questions. They’re battling it out for the final spot in the last of three semifinal games.
