Valentine’s Day: a time for flowers, chocolates, fancy dinners and…couples? Fear not, single ladies: you can still have tons of fun on Valentine’s Day! We’ve got 15 great ideas to do on February 14! Keep reading to check them out!
Buy yourself some chocolate. You deserve it.
Go out with your friends. Coffee shops make great hangouts. Or maybe go dancing if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous!
Have a fancy dinner party. Dress up and prepare a nice dinner for yourself and/or your friends. Or you could always go to a nice restaurant with your friends if cooking isn’t your thing.
Do something special with your makeup. You could try pretty pink tones in the spirit of Valentine’s Day if you’d like.
Have a spa day. Cucumber slices for the eyes, paint your nails, draw a bath, the whole nine yards! Relaxation is key here.
Go see a movie. Try a chick flick if you’re in the mood for it, or a funny film if that’s more your speed.
Make a list of the things you love about yourself. Maybe you have great hair or nice eyes. Write whatever you can think of, and save it for when you need a little pick-me-up. Self love can go beyond Valentine’s Day too!
Have a sleepover. Have junk food, stay up late gossiping, have a pillow fight – anything goes! Just have fun with your friends.
Listen to music. Make your own “Single Girl” playlist full of songs that remind how awesome you are! You don’t need a significant other to feel good about yourself, you know? You’re great just the way you are.
Buy yourself some flowers. They spruce up any space, and you can keep them way past February 14th! Talk about perfect.
Travel. Go on a cool trip, even if it’s just in your city. It’ll be fun to catch up with the rest of your single friends!
Play with your pets. Or if you don’t have a pet of your own, offer to pet-sit for the day. Or visit an animal shelter or pet store. Animals are guaranteed to make you happy, so what better idea is there?
Have a Celebrity Crush Night. Bring over pics of your favorite celebrity crushes, or even watch the tv shows or movies they’re in for fun!
Two words – chocolate fountain. Or, cheese fondue. Either way, you’ll be golden on Valentine’s Day.
Do a gift exchange with your friends and/or family. Show each other the love with little presents – it’s easy and thoughtful. Perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
There you have it: 15 ideas for single ladies on Valentine’s Day! So don’t sweat it if you’re not coupled up because as you can see, there’s plenty of stuff to do on your own. Happy Valentine’s Day and hopefully these ideas help you feel good for February 14!
