I’m sure we all can agree when I say that for our twelfth birthday, we were probably just receiving some cash or clothes from close friends and family. Most of us cannot say that we were getting gifts from world renowned musicians — but Maddie Ziegler can!
You may know Maddie from her starring role on Lifetime’s Dance Moms, or her feature in Sia’s “Chandelier” music video. On September 30, Maddie celebrated her 12th birthday, and woke up to a surprise from Sia herself! Sia decided to send Maddie a bouquet of bright pink and white balloons, along with a Hello Kitty balloon that was almost taller than the star dancer. We already know that Sia cried when seeing her “Chandelier” routine for the first time, but we had no idea they had this close of a bond! Maddie took to Instagram to post about the wonderful gift with the caption, “Thank you so much Sia for the beautiful balloons! Love you so much.” Surely with a present from this superstar, Maddie had to have had an amazing 12th birthday.
