Ariana Grande recently filmed a makeup tutorial for her YouTube channel. The singer’s new makeup line, REM Beauty, has been wildly popular since launching in November. While Ariana did a mod makeup look, she also answered fan questions. Keep reading below to find out how you can get her look, and details on her answers from the Q&A!
Get Her Look: Ariana Grande’s REM Beauty Makeup
Ariana first starts off with concealer (hers will launch soon) under her eyes. For a dupe, try Tarte’s Shape Tape Concealer for that full coverage look.
She then begins her eye makeup, using the “Groovy Baby” Eyeshadow Palette. Shade “Lavender Submarine” is used on her lids. Next she applies Midnight Shadows Metallic Gel Eyeshadow in “Affirmation” to her lids.
Ariana did a cut crease using her At The Borderline Eyeliner Marker, although she recommends sketching it out first with eyeshadow to get a good idea of where you want it. Using her “Mist Thing” Calming Face Mist, she sprayed an eyeshadow brush to intensify the next shade of eyeshadow going on her lids, which was “Mini Skirt” from the “Go-Go Boots” Palette.
She applied the Flourishing Lengthening Mascara to her top lashes, and sketched fake bottom ones on using her “Smitten Kitten” Palette. Ariana used Eclipse Cheek & Lip Stick in “Audition” on her cheeks as blush. A bit of her At The Borderline Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in “So Mod” brightened her waterlines and made it very 60s.
Finishing her look was the Utmost Importance Lip Gloss and a pair of Dream Lashes.
Ariana’s Q&A
One fan asked what Ariana’s mom’s favorite products are, so Ariana called Joan and asked! Joan said she loves “Drive-In” Lipstick and the “Principessa” Eye Palette.
Another question was “When was the first time she wore REM products in front of fans?” Ariana said it was during the O2 show in London, and she wore her highlight. Her favorite part about the new launch is all the skincare prep products they’ve introduced. One of her favorite products is the Under Eye Cooling Balm.
She also hinted that there may be a couple new fragrances that she will release this year. So, stay tuned for that! But, as far as a 7th studio album goes? Ariana told fans she actually hasn’t started work on one. She was doing her coaching on The Voice, all while prepping for her Wicked role, so she’s stayed busy!
Her favorite product to create was the lip gloss because she got to handpick the scents, and see how much pearl was in them, etc. Ariana loved being there for that day, and is thankful the gloss turned out to be one of her go-to products.
