Lionel Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo went on a double date with David and Victoria Beckham at Miami’s luxurious restaurant Gekko. Who owns Gekko? Where’s it located?
Gekko is owned by Groot Hospitality’s David Grutman and rapper Bad Bunny. The concept is a Japanese inspired steakhouse and lounge. It’s located in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood on 8 SE 8th Street. The restaurant has signature dishes like steak, sushi and other seafood. An extensive drink menu is also available. Prices range from $12-$1,200, so depending on what kind of food you’re looking for, it can either be reasonable or on the expensive side.
Famous Faces: Celebrities who have dined there
A slew of celebrities have dined at Gekko. It’s an impressive list given that the restaurant has only been open since August 2022. Celebrity diners include: Eva Longoria, DJ Khaled, Future, Michael Bay, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner.

Victoria and David Beckham dined at Gekko on July 27 with Lionel Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo. Lionel recently joined David’s major league soccer team, Inter Miami CF. They hung out with their friends, who also happen to be part of the soccer scene.
“Noche con amigos 🍷,” Lionel captioned some photos on his Instagram. David posted a similar sentiment with “la cena perfecta.. familia 🩷🖤.” See their evening with friends featuring the perfect dinner below.
