Hallmark Channel‘s Countdown to Christmas movie lineup has been a huge success. The network continues its annual event with the premiere of an all-new holiday film, A Very Merry Bridesmaid, starring Casey Deidrick and Emily Osment. The film has a fun plot, stellar cast, and all the classic characteristics fans have come to know and love about Hallmark movies. A Very Merry Bridesmaid follows Leah (Emily Osment) whose 30th birthday is on Christmas Eve. What was supposed to be a major milestone takes a backseat to her future sister-in-law’s wedding, for which Leah’s a bridesmaid. But, things seem to take a turn when her childhood crush Drew (Casey Deidrick) returns — it may be just the thing to help Leah navigate the overlapping festivities and determine a new direction in her life.
Casey Deidrick is currently starring in the hit CW series In the Dark, which was renewed for a fourth season in February. The intense season 3 cliffhanger left many fans anxiously awaiting its return, including whether or not the sparks will reignite between his character Max and Perry Mattfeld’s character Murphy. Emily Osment currently stars in the new Netflix series Pretty Smart, alongside fellow Disney Channel alum Gregg Sulkin.
