<p class="has-medium-font-size">With the season 3 premiere of <em><a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Siesta Key (opens in a new tab)" href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/tag/siesta-key/" target="_blank">Siesta Key</a></em> coming up, we&#8217;re taking a look at another potential couple that&#8217;ll be heating up TV screens this winter: <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Kelsey Owens (opens in a new tab)" href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/tag/kelsey-owens/" target="_blank">Kelsey Owens</a> and <a href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/tag/jake-petersen">Jake Petersen</a>. The <em>Siesta Key</em> OG and the new guy in town caught each other&#8217;s eyes during filming, but where do they stand now? Keep reading for all the details!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">HOW DID KELSEY MEET JAKE? WHEN DID THEY GET TOGETHER?</h2>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Kelsey and Jake met through Kelsey&#8217;s work with Rebella, a social media influencer agency. You see, Jake and <a href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/news/juliette-porter-vacations-in-greece-with-boyfriend-robby-hayes-photos-inside/">Juliette Porter&#8217;s ex, Robby Hayes</a> run it together. Kelsey and Jake apparently hit it off relatively quick, as they each made appearances on each other&#8217;s Instagrams. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Now, you may remember that Kelsey had a boyfriend – Jacob Wilson – during the last season of <em>Siesta Key</em>. The two broke up prior to season 3 filming, so she was single and definitely ready to mingle. <a href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/news/mtvs-siesta-key-returns-for-season-3-in-january-get-the-details/">Feeling the Vibe previously reported that Jake caught Kelsey&#8217;s attention</a>, but was that enough?</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Maybe, considering throughout the summer, both Jake and Kelsey posted photos of each other to social media, albeit the majority of them were group photos (a few of which you can see below). </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">The interesting thing comes from Jake&#8217;s IG post though, which he captioned: &#8220;You make me feel what I’d imagine ;Chik-fil-a operating on Sundays would feel like.&#8221; The boomerang video shows he and Kelsey laughing, before presumably posing for a photo together. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR THEM NOW? </h2>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">While Jake&#8217;s sweet Instagram post was posted in September, it&#8217;s tricky to say if that was his way of making their relationship public or not. Kelsey has yet to post an Instagram of just the two of them – but she <em>did</em> post one of she and her ex-boyfriend, Garrett Miller. </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Course, who could blame her? Her previous relationships haven&#8217;t exactly worked out in the spotlight, so perhaps if she and Jake did have a summer fling, or still have some sparks now, who&#8217;s to say she wants the whole world to know? </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">The two do appear to be flirty, that we know for sure based on Kelsey&#8217;s Instagram comments on Jake&#8217;s, as well as Juliette&#8217;s photos of their <em>Siesta Key</em> group. Guess we&#8217;ll just have to see how their relationship plays out when <em>Siesta Key</em> season 3 premieres <strong>Jan. 7 at 8/7 c on MTV. </strong></p>
