Kaitlyn Bristowe wants to be transparent about her career moves and relationship! In an interview with Entrepreneur, The Bachelorette star recalled a past experience that influenced her to change how she presented herself on social media.
She remembered the one time she posted a sponsored picture for a waist trainer on one of her social media profiles. She admitted that she’s never used the product and people did not respond well to the post.
Bristowe said, “I saw the followers drop, people were asking, ‘Why are you pushing this?’ People can see through it. They didn’t believe that I was using this waist trainer, especially when I always talked about how, at that time in my life, I hadn’t worked out in like a year,” Bristowe shared with the business website.
The 33 year old Bachelorette alum considered her followers feedback and began to only promote products she believed in. Bristowe now promotes her podcast, Off the Vine and her scrunchie brand, Dew! Her line of scrunchies reflect her “quirky and fun and bold” personality.
When it comes to her current love life, Bristowe calls her relationship with Jason Tartick an “unexpected surprise.” Bristowe had plans to marry her former fiancé and Bachelorette winner, Shawn Booth. The former couple ended their engagement of 3 years in November 2018. Bristowe began dating Trick in January 2019. Tartick was a contestant on The Bachelorette during Becca Kufrin’s season.
“It’s weird that posting a picture on Instagram seems like a big deal, but it was when it came to posting a picture of my new relationship with Jason,” Bristowe shared. Congrats to Bristowe for her career moves and new relationship!
