‘Big Shot’: Plot, Cast, & More on Disney Plus Series Starring John Stamos

John Stamos is back on the small screen in the new Disney Plus series Big Shot. The former Full House actor leads the ensemble cast in a classic story of redemption and self-discovery as his character Marvyn Korn coaches a high school basketball team. Big Shot Plot + Cast

Big Shot follows former NCAA member Marvyn Korn (John Stamos) as he’s given a second chance by accepting a coaching position at a private high school. When he realizes that his new team of teenage girls needs more than just tough love, he has to learn how to connect with them. As he attempts this, he finds himself growing more into the person he’s always wanted to be, while the team is discovering themselves both on and off the court.

In addition to former Full/Fuller House star John Stamos, there’s also Community actress Yvette Nicole Brown, GLEE alum Jessalyn Gilsig, and Ocean’s 8 Richard Robichaux. Their roles are of: principal Sherilyn Thomas, assistant coach Holly Barrett, and George Pappas, respectively.

Rounding out the ensemble cast are of course, the high schoolers. They are portrayed by: Sophia Mitri Schloss (Emma Korn), Nell Verlaque (Louise Gruzinsky), Tiana Le (Destiny Winters), Monique Green (Olive Cooper), Tisha Custodio (Carolyn “Mouse” Smith), and Cricket Wampler (Samantha “Giggles” Finkman).
