Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is back with an all-new season on ABC. The hit game show has celebrities face off against each other and try to solve word puzzles in order to win prize money for the charity of their choice. On Wednesday, September 27, Brendan Hunt, Melissa Villaseñor and Joe Buck are the first trio of celebrity guests to appear on the show. Brendan Hunt is an actor and screenwriter. His resume includes roles in films like We’re the Millers and Horrible Bosses 2, as well as a regular cast member and co-creator of AppleTV+ series Ted Lasso. In 2023, Hunt appeared on two episodes of Celebrity Jeopardy! Brendan’s engaged to Shannon Nelson and he has one child.
Melissa Villaseñor is an actress and comedienne. The 35-year-old rose to prominence due to her role on the late night sketch series Saturday Night Live. She was a cast member for six seasons. Melissa’s also done voice work in projects such as Q-Force, OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes and Adventure Time. In addition, Villaseñor has an art Instagram and a podcast called Laughing with Myself.
Joe Buck is a sportscaster for ESPN. He’s the son of sportscaster Jack Buck; Joe previously worked for Fox Sports from 1994–2021. Buck’s an 8-time Sports Emmy winner and was married to Ann Archambault from 1993–2011, with whom he has two daughters. In 2014, he married Michelle Beisner and they have twin sons together.
Brendan Hunt is playing for Steps of Faith Foundation. Melissa Villaseñor’s charity of choice is TreePeople, and Joe Buck is playing for St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation.
