<p><a href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/?s=Bridgit+Mendler" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)">Bridgit Mendler</a> may have gotten more than an Easter basket this weekend! The <em>Good Luck Charlie</em> star announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Griffin Cleverly on Easter Sunday. </p>

<p>The actress captioned her engagement photo on Instagram by praising Cleverly. She also expressed how she’s “looking forward” to holding his hand forever. Griff Cleverly is a Mechanical Engineer who lives in Los Angeles, California.</p>



<p>The caption read, &#8220;<em>We thought we should share the news ?? Griff you are a deep thinker, a steadfast companion, a cheerleader and a challenger, and the biggest goof I know. Looking forward to holding ur hand forever.</em>&#8220;</p>

<p>Besides getting engaged, Mendler is set to star in a Netflix series called <em>Merry Happy Whatever. </em>The upcoming show is a Christmas-themed comedy that will also star <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)" href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/?s=Ashley+Tisdale" target="_blank">Ashley Tisdale</a> and Dennis Quaid. According to <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.netflix.com/search?q=Merry%20Happy&;jbv=80997965&;jbp=0&;jbr=0" target="_blank">Netflix</a>, The show is focused around a father who must handle his family and the stress that comes with the holidays. </p>

<p>Mendler has also been focused on getting her graduates degree from MIT. Last September, she was a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipOKO99GmLg" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)">guest speaker on AtlanticLIVE </a>for tracking Twitter engagement. </p>



<p>In terms of her music, the last time Mendler released a single was “Diving” in August 2017. Mendler has not released new music since then. </p>
