Candace Cameron Bure live tweeted her fans during the premiere of her new Hallmark Channel original movie, A Shoe Addict’s Christmas, and even took to her Instagram page to share some answers to the most commonly asked questions. Keep reading below to get all the details!
While online, Candace shared that while she was settling in for the east coast premiere, she was the only one doing so in her house! She also told her followers that she hoped her kids were watching on their own time, and her husband was out with a friend at the time of the premiere, so she flew solo for the night.
The Fuller House star also commented on costar Lori Loughlin’s commercial for Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” special, saying how beautiful she looked her in the two dresses she rocked onscreen.
She then answered some of the most commonly asked fan questions about her new movie, including:
Did she get to keep any of the shoes from the movie?
Candace actually brought a whole suitcase full of her own shoes to use for the film! How cool is that? She did take a few pairs home from set – including a pair of brown boots from Banana Republic that she wore at the start of the movie.
Was the snow [in the movie] real or fake?
It was a combination of both, Candace told her fans. Apparently it snowed a few days into filming.

And where exactly did they film?
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Favorite scene?
Candace’s favorite scene from the movie was the one where Noelle (her character) and Charlie talk about God sending 3 sleighs on Christmas and how Noelle just missed them. The story shows light, love, and how the fear of missing something can be important to listen to.
Candace actually pitched that story about the sleighs when she went into Hallmark for a meeting about the movie. So they wrote it into the movie, and Candace said her costar Jean Smart did an “amazing” job performing the story in the film.
She finished her Instagram chat off with saying that Christmas Under Wraps was on next, making it a Candace Cameron Bure trifecta Sunday night. Switched at Christmas and Christmas Under Wraps were the two previous Christmas Hallmark movies Candace did.
