The second follow up movie to the Harry & Meghan series will air on the Lifetime Network over Memorial Day Weekend!
The first aired back in 2018 called ‘Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance.’ It took the viewers through how the couple was first set up, how their first date went, and how their romance blossomed. Meghan Markle was played by Parisa Fitz-Henley and Prince Harry was played by Murray Fraser.
In the second movie, ‘Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal,‘ the actors have changed. Actors Tiffany Smith and Charlie Field will portray the royal couple this time.
Portraying Prince Charles
A familiar face will be playing Prince Harry’s father in the Lifetime movie. Charles Shaughnessy, who is well known for his role as Maxwell Sheffield in the CBS comedy, “The Nanny” opposite Fran Drescher will portray Prince Charles.
The 64 year old actor has been steadily acting ever since The Nanny went off the air in 1999. You may have seen him in roles on Days of Our Lives, The Cool Kids, and Modern Family.
‘The Nanny’ Cast Reunites
Shaughnessy, who was born in London, England relates to the role of Prince Charles very well. However, he did recently reunite with his co-stars from ‘The Nanny.’
Lauren Lane (C.C. Babcock) and Nicholle Tom (Margaret Sheffield) met up with their ex co-star just this past March. Of course they had to document the reunion on Instagram!
Nicolle Tom described the photos using the hashtags #MyOtherFamily #MyChildhood. She started the show playing Margaret Sheffield at only 15 years old and was 21 when the show went off the air.
This isn’t the first time Charles met up with a co-star. In 2014, he walked the red carpet with his on screen love interest Fran Drescher for “Here’s a Thought.”
