<p class="has-medium-font-size">The annual One Chicago Day was held on Monday, October 7, 2019, and it did not disappoint, as cast members from <em><a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Chicago Med (opens in a new tab)" href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/tag/chicago-med/" target="_blank">Chicago Med</a></em>, <em><a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Chicago Fire (opens in a new tab)" href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/tag/chicago-fire/" target="_blank">Chicago Fire</a></em>, and <em><a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Chicago PD (opens in a new tab)" href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/tag/chicago-pd/" target="_blank">Chicago PD</a></em> came out to celebrate their new seasons. We&#8217;ve got the scoop on Monday&#8217;s festivities, including who was there, what was said, &; much more!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">First thing&#8217;s first: What is NBC&#8217;s #OneChicago Day?</h2>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">For those that don&#8217;t know, NBC hosts an event called #OneChicago Day, which brings together cast members from all 3 shows: <em>Chicago Med</em>, <em>Chicago Fire</em>, and <em>Chicago PD</em>. They conduct interviews, do press photos, and even play some fun games or take cool candids. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">The event was hosted a bit later than usual this year, as it&#8217;s usually held prior to airing the new seasons. This year&#8217;s day was well planned though, as NBC also released the trailer for the #OneChicago crossover special on the heels of the event.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">So, who attended this year&#8217;s #OneChicago Day? </h2>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">In attendance from <em>Chicago Med</em> were: Torrey DeVitto, Nick Gehlfuss, Brian Tee, Yaya DaCosta, S. Epatha Merkerson, Oliver Platt, Marlyne Barrett, and Dominic Rains. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Representing <em>Chicago Fire</em> were: Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney, Eamonn Walker, Miranda Rae Mayo, Kara Killmer, Annie Ilonzeh, David Eigenberg, Christian Stolte, and Joe Minoso. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Last but certainly not least, for <em>Chicago PD</em> were: Jason Beghe, Jesse Lee Soffer, Tracy Spiridakos, Marina Squerciati, Patrick John Flueger, LaRoyce Hawkins, Lisseth Chavez, and Amy Morton. </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">The casts were interviewed by various media outlets, from news crews to podcasts; not to mention individual entertainment journalists and TV buzz sites. Social media has been filled with tweets of &#8220;ship sightings&#8221; and posts about Q&;A sessions that were conducted. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">If you&#8217;re wondering what some cast members are wearing, they are in fact dressed in their show &#8220;uniforms.&#8221; For <em>Med</em>, that means maroon or black scrubs with blue or gray jackets; <em>Fire</em> insists upon navy jackets with the CFD logo; whereas <em>PD</em>&#8216;s &#8220;officers&#8221; catch a break in &#8220;plain clothes.&#8221;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What went down at #OneChicago Day 2019? </h2>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Aside from all the interviews, cast members posed alongside their respective show&#8217;s backdrops, and took selfies with reporters for Instagram Stories. Some of the cast even posted their own photos for Instagram – check out Marina Squerciati&#8217;s adorable trio photograph below: </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Attendees got in on the fun when the casts of <em>Chicago Fire</em>, <em>Chicago Med</em>, and <em>Chicago PD</em> did live demonstrations of skills from their shows. <em>Chicago Fire</em>&#8216;s David Eigenberg, Joe Minoso, and Miranda Rae Mayo showed how to do a fireman&#8217;s carry out of a room.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Meanwhile, <em>Chicago Med</em>&#8216;s Nick Gehlfuss and Brian Tee showed off their CPR and defibrillator skills; and <em>Chicago PD</em>&#8216;s Marina Squerciati, LaRoyce Hawkins, along with technical advisor Brian Luce discussed proper police procedures. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">And yes, the cast even tried out each other&#8217;s demos – you can see Marina in some scrubs and David assisting the &#8220;doctors&#8221; in the photo gallery below.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Some cast members also played a &#8220;not so newlywed&#8221; game with NBC&#8217;s Chicago TODAY. On hand for that were <em>Chicago Med</em>&#8216;s Torrey DeVitto and Nick Gehlfuss (#Manstead), <em>Chicago PD&#8217;s </em>Tracy Spiridakos and Jesse Lee Soffer (#Upstead), as well as <em>Chicago Fire</em>&#8216;s David Eigenberg and Joe Minoso.
