Hallmark Channel continues its Countdown to Christmas event with the premiere of an all-new movie, Christmas Comes Twice. The film stars Tamera Mowry, and has all the heartwarming, holiday cheer that everyone loves. Christmas Comes Twice: Cast + Plot
Christmas Comes Twice stars Tamera Mowry as Cheryl Jenkins, an astrophysicist reviewing grants for the National Science Foundation. When she goes home for the holidays, she attends the Christmas carnival with her family. After she rides a carousel, she discovers it’s now five years earlier!
As Cheryl makes her way through this time, she finds herself reconnecting with her old science teacher, Ms. Nelson (Sheryl Lee Ralph), and running into her old “frenemy,” George (Michael Xavier). When she begins to see her life in a new way, she also sees George in a new light too; but when time returns to the present day, will their relationship last?
Tamera Mowry (full married name Tamera Mowry-Housley) is best known for starring alongside her twin sister, Tia Mowry-Hardrict in the ABC/WB series, Sister, Sister. Fans will also know Tamera from her 7-year hosting gig on the daytime talk show, The Real, and for co-starring alongside her sister in the Disney Channel original movies, Twitches and Twitches Too. Recently, she joined Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family, and if that’s not already impressive, she’s a wife, mother, blogger, and psychology degree holder from Pepperdine University.
Michael Xavier was born in Ontario, Canada, and is known for his role on Syfy’s Bitten. He had recurring roles on Amazon’s The Expanse and Netflix’s Northern Rescue. Other credits to his name include: Shazam!, The Bold Type, Taken, Ordinary Days, and A Swinger’s Weekend.
Sheryl Lee Ralph starred in Hallmark’s Christmas at Holly Lodge, and can be seen recurring on Ray Donovan and MacGyver. Her next series will be Motherland on Freeform. A fun fact: Sheryl was a lead on Tamera’s sister Tia’s show, Instant Mom.

Tamera Mowry shared not one, but two behind the scenes posts with her fans on social media. The first was a “sneak peek” at her filming with Michael; the second was an “on location” or on set type of video.
Speaking of her co-star, Michael Xavier posted a couple of fun photos featuring he and Tamera. One was on the set in Vancouver, the other was on the cover of TV Guide magazine!
