Laura Marano is no stranger to Netflix movies. Two of her films (Saving Zoe and A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish) were made available for streaming on the platform, and she starred alongside Noah Centineo in 2019’s The Perfect Date. Now, the former Disney Channel star is gearing up for her newest release with the streaming giant: The Royal Treatment with Mena Massoud. Everything you need to know about the new movie is below, including plot, characters, photos, premiere date, and even a trailer.
Who does Laura Marano play in The Royal Treatment?
Laura Marano portrays, Izzy, a hairstylist with a thick New York accent and no-nonsense attitude. Other roles you may know Laura from are: Disney Channel’s Austin & Ally, Ladybird, Saving Zoe with her older sister Vanessa, or A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish opposite Gregg Sulkin. The Royal Treatment is her second original Netflix film.

Other works of Mena’s include: Canadian drama series Open Heart, Hulu’s Reprisal, and most recently, an episode of FOX’s 9-1-1: Lone Star.
What is The Royal Treatment About?
Netflix has released the official film synopsis, which reads: “Isabella runs her own salon and isn’t afraid to speak her mind, while Prince Thomas runs his own country and is about to marry for duty rather than love. When Izzy and her fellow stylists get the opportunity of a lifetime to do the hair for the royal wedding, she and Prince Thomas learn that taking control of their own destiny requires following their hearts.”
