Hallmark Channel’s Emmy nominated daytime show, ‘Home & Family‘ has found its new co-host.
During the summer, ‘Home & Family‘ invited a number of guest co-hosts into their home to work alongside Debbie Matenopoulos in their search for their next permanent host.
Cameron Mathison , 48, who is currently the host of CBS’s ‘Entertainment Tonight‘ just received the role of the permanent new co-host of ‘Home & Family.‘
Mathison will continue to guest host throughout the rest of the summer and will take on the role full time when the show begins its seventh season this September.
Home & Family’s official Instagram posted the news this morning saying, “Join us in welcoming Hallmark star and television host, @cameronmathison as the new-cost of @homeandfamilytv on @hallmarkchannel! Welcome to the family, Cameron! Don’t forget to tune in weekdays 10a/9c.”

A number of viewers love Mathison and are excited that he will be joining the daytime show. However, there are still many loyal viewers who have mixed feelings about the way the former co-host, Mark Steines departed from the show back in late May, and pledge not to watch.
Michelle Vicary, EVP of Programming and Network Publicity of Crown Media Networks released a statement saying, “Cameron Mathison, always a fan-favorite in Hallmark Original movies, brings his enthusiasm, zest and spirit to the liveliest how-to show in all of Daytime television.”
‘Home & Family’ airs weekdays at 10am EST on the Hallmark Channel.
