On an all-new episode of Celebrity Family Feud, former The Nanny co-stars Fran Drescher and Charles Shaughnessy are facing off in the September 12th episode. The duo is joined by their respective teammates, from friends and family, to people in the Hollywood business. Both teams are playing for Cancer Schmancer, an organization that Fran founded after her own cancer battle. Get details on who’s on their teams, and see a couple social media posts below.

Another project of hers you may have seen? She played Kate, Hugo’s (Ben Lewis) mom who gets a visit from her son during the holiday season in The Christmas Setup. The film also starred Ben’s real-life partner, Blake Lee of Freeform’s Cruel Summer. It was released on Lifetime in 2020, and was the first LGBTQ-themed Christmas movie ever broadcasted by the network.

As you know, Charles starred in The Nanny with Fran from 1993-1999 for 6 seasons. The two remain friends to this day, and their chemistry was what really made the show work. Shaughnessy told ET back in April that they “just knew how to play off each other…We trusted each other, we enjoyed each other… and it took off like a rocket.”
He also told the news outlet that there’s been ideas for a reboot floating around – Fran has a genius idea, he teased. But, as for anything in the near future? Not yet! However, the cast did reunite for a virtual table-read last year during the pandemic.
Charles is also active on social media, taking to Instagram to post his own photo from the set of Celebrity Family Feud. You can see his wife, daughters, and son-in-law in the picture below. He captioned it with: “Feuding Family Shaughnessy! Coming this summer TBD. @FamilyFeudABC #CelebrityFamilyFeud @melanieverkinshair @dianemayo.”
