Dove Cameron’s new song ‘Remember Me‘ just premiered and fans are wondering what or who the song is about.
Cameron has been with her current boyfriend, Thomas Doherty, since 2016. The couple starred together in Disney’s Descendants 2.
Before her song premiered, Cameron went on Twitter to chat with fans.
One asked the question on everyone’s mind; is this song about Thomas?
Dove set the record straight and replied “no. it has to do with me.”
In an interview with POPSUGAR, Cameron explained the song. “It’s a bit of a, ‘I will only be this beautiful, this young, this healthy, this vibrant right now, and will never be more beautiful and in my prime than I am right now.’ And while I’m aware of that, I also know that it’s ending and that this is fleeting,” she revealed.
‘Remember Me’ is available on all music streaming platforms.
