Jennifer Love Hewitt recently shared that she would be interested in directing a sequel to her 90’s teen movie Can’t Hardly Wait. The actress shared that it’s one of her goals this year on Danny Pellegrino’s podcast Everything Iconic.
This is not the first time Hewitt has expressed interest in making a sequel to the movie. In 2015, Hewitt watched a screening of the film at the Cinespia in Santa Monica, California. She posted the photos to Facebook and captioned one of the pictures by writing, “Can’t Hardly Wait reunion movie anyone? Let’s get them to make it!”
Can’t Hardly Wait was released in 1998. The film revolves around a group of high school seniors partying the night before graduation. The movie stared Seth Green, Ethan Embry, Lauren Ambrose, Charlie Korsmo, and Peter Facinelli. Although nothing is set for a sequel, it’s still an exciting idea worth talking about!
Hewitt also discussed her other movies such as I Know What You Did Last Summer, Heartbreakers, and among other hits.
Today, Hewitt stars on the Fox drama 9-1-1 and enjoys spending time with her two children and husband.
