<p>Is <em>Awkward</em> returning to <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="MTV (opens in a new tab)" href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/?s=MTV" target="_blank">MTV</a>? Actress Jillian Rose Reed caused quite a stir among fans of the show when she showed off her new red hair on <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Instagram (opens in a new tab)" href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BxAiGqyHAME/" target="_blank">Instagram</a>. Reed captioned the photo, &#8221; Guess who’s back? ♥ï¸&#8221;. Fans assumed Reed was referring to her role as Tamara on the MTV comedy series. </p>

<p>Last October, many of the cast members got together for a small reunion. <a href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/?s=Beau+Mirchoff" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Beau Mirchoff (opens in a new tab)">Beau Mirchoff</a> (Matty McKibben), Greer Grammer (Lissa), Molly Tarlov (Sadie Saxton), Niki DeLoach (Lacey Hamilton), Brett Davern (Jake Rosatti), Barret Swatek (Ally Saxton), and Reed took a group photo together to document their gathering. Davern caption the photo, “BIG ANNOUNCEMENT COMING SOON!”. </p>

<p>The cast has also met up with each other for other occasions. Tarlov, Grammer, and Reed shared a girls trip together in Temecula, CA last February. Mirchoff and Davern hung out together in Vegas last month.</p>

<p>The show aired on MTV from 2011 to 2016. Since the show ended, many of the actors have continued acting and have tackled creative projects of their own. </p>

<p>In April, DeLoach shared with <em><a href="https://hollywoodlife.com/2019/04/26/awkward-reboot-nikki-deloach-interview-love-takes-flight/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)">Hollywood Life</a></em> that a revival of the show is one of her “greatest wishes”. The reboot has not been confirmed, but one might happen in the near future!</p>
