Jordan Fisher recently popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Ellie Woods (no, it’s not Elle Woods from ‘Legally Blonde!’). According to People, The newly engaged couple shared their special moment together in their hometown of Birmingham, Alabama at Woods’ family beach house.
After she said yes, their close family and friends helped celebrate their exciting new. The Season 25 Dancing with the Stars winner and The Dancing with the Stars: Juniors host kept his engagement ring for Woods a surprise for months!
Fisher met Woods when he was only 13 years old. They became best friends and once they became adults, they began dating. Fisher told People that he knew she was “the one” early in their relationship. They always say “you just know!”
The couple also shared with People that they want to have a year-long engagement. Woods will be graduating from the University of Alabama this summer and will soon start working as a clinical nutritionist. Fisher is also busy working on To All the Boys I Loved Before 2 as John Ambrose.
“His goal in life is to have a family. I’m not an actress or in the entertainment industry in any way, so it was really important for me to find a husband that was grounded and had goals that were the same as mine,” Woods shared with the magazine.
