<p>Hough captioned her Twitter photo, &#8220;<em>The result of the honor of being hit in the neck by @PaulaAbdul’s flying hat! Love you, babe!!! ??? #BMAs</em>&#8220;. Hough also posted a video on Twitter showing fans that it was all in good fun and that she was actually okay.</p>

<p>Besides recently celebrating the BMAs, Hough is also getting ready for her new hosting job on <em><strong>America&#8217;s Got Talent</strong></em>. Hough will be joined by Gabrielle Union-Wade, Howie Mandel, and <a rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)" href="https://wud.tpx.mybluehost.me/website_9bd75fcc/?s=Simon+Cowell" target="_blank">Simon Cowell</a> on the judging panel. Terry Crews will be the new host of the season.</p>
