Kenan Thompson shared his enthusiasm for the revival of the Nickelodeon sketch-comedy series All That. Thompson started his acting career on the original show, and will be producing the upcoming reboot. According to Us Weekly, Thompson would love to see Amanda Bynes guest star on the show.
The Saturday Night Live star wants the original cast members to “pass the torch” to the seven new kids that will be on the reboot. Thompson shared that he has been in touch with everyone except for Bynes. Bynes has yet to comment on the new reboot.
The original cast members include Josh Server, Kel Mitchell, Lori Beth Denberg, Katrina Johnson, Angelique Bates, and Alisa Reyes. In a 2015 interview with The Pop Break, Mitchell and Server agreed that a show like All That would still be successful.
Bynes made her first appearance on the 90’s show in November 1996. The actress was known for her “Ask Ashley” sketch. In a interview with Paper Magazine, Bynes shared that it was a “dream come true” when she found out she would be a cast member for the show.
Last month, People Magazine reported that Bynes was getting help with her mental heath. No updates have shared about her current state of health. We hope for the best for this talented actress!
