ABC’s To Tell the Truth is all-new on Sunday, June 20. There are 3 new celebrities appearing on the show’s panel: Kevin Nealon, Retta and Francia Raisa. As always, Anthony Anderson is hosting, and his mom, Doris will make an appearance in the episode. We’ve got details on the panelists, the episode, and the questions they’ll answer below. So, keep reading for all that info before tonight’s premiere.
This isn’t the first time Kevin Nealon’s been seen on celebrity game shows. He appeared on To Tell the Truth in 2020. But, more recently, he appeared alongside Rachael Leigh Cook and Sherri Shepherd on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. Kevin’s known for being a comedian, having appeared on SNL. Other works of his are: Glenn Martin DDS, Weeds, and Man with a Plan. Currently, he hosts his own YouTube series called Hiking with Kevin.
Retta is also known for her stand-up comedy, as well as her acting. She moved to LA to pursue her comedy career, eventually making it onto Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, a show for up-and-coming performers. One of her best known TV roles was in Parks and Recreation. She returned to NBC in 2018, and since then has starred alongside Christina Hendricks and Mae Whitman in Good Girls.
She visited the Kelly Clarkson Show to chat with the first ‘American Idol’ in March. The two took a photo together from the set. They look super happy!
Francia Raisa is perhaps best known for her role as Adrian Lee in The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Currently, she’s starring as Ana Torres in the black-ish spinoff series, grown-ish. Films you might know her from are Bring It On: All or Nothing and Life Size 2. In 2017, she made headlines for donating a kidney to her BFF, Selena Gomez, who has lupus.
She also just loves snuggling up with her pup! Francia posted a photo with her rescue with the caption, “The papers may say I rescued you, but I’m pretty sure you rescued me 💛”
According to ABC’s official press release, this episode features “a person who won $250,000 playing bingo, a professional astrologer, a planet hunter, a person who danced in the big game halftime show and a steel artist.” The questions will be formatted like: “Who won $250,000 playing Bingo?”, “Who danced in the Halftime Show?”, and “Who is the professional astrologer?”
Check out a few promotional photos from tonight’s episode of To Tell the Truth below. As you can see, Kevin, Retta, and Francia are having a blast trying to figure out who’s telling the truth.
The all-new episode of To Tell the Truth airs Sunday, June 20 at 10 PM ET, on ABC.
