<p>The former &#8216;<strong><a href="http://blog.feelingthevibe.com/tag/dance-moms"><em>Dance Moms</em></a></strong>&#8216; star is carefree showing off her summer tan in a new photo posted to Instagram this weekend.</p>
<p>Maddie, 14, is on a family vacation and brought along new friend and social star, <strong><a href="http://blog.feelingthevibe.com/tag/summer-mckeen">Summer McKeen</a></strong>, 19, on their trip to Mexico.</p>
<p>The girls were soaking up the sun and hanging out near the surf boards in a recent photo.</p>

<p>Though it wasn&#8217;t officially announced, it appears that Maddie has recently split from boyfriend <a href="http://blog.feelingthevibe.com/tag/jack-kelly">Jack Kelly</a>, and who doesn&#8217;t need an awesome tropical trip to help heal post-breakup?</p>
<p>McKeen is also loving the time out in Mexico with new photos posted to her Instgram, saying &#8220;<em>reeeaaally love it here.</em>&#8221;</p>
