Mario Lopez recently had dancers James and Miranda Derrick, as well as TikTok stars Vik White & Aubrey Fisher on his segment for Access Hollywood. They joined him for “Mario’s Minute” to discuss their viral dances, as well as teach Mario some moves! Check it out below courtesy of these two behind the scenes videos from Instagram:
As you can see above, Mario’s no stranger to breaking it down with dance. Dance is one of the ways he expresses himself, and if you recall, around this time last year, he and daughter Gia stopped by The Kelly Clarkson Show to share a TikTok dance. Mario and his wife Courtney Lopez have done family dances on Instagram too.
He’s been dancing since he was young, and even placed second in season 3 of Dancing with the Stars. And, you can’t forget his dance moves on Saved by the Bell. His character on the original and the reboot, AC Slater, always knows how to entertain. He even did his signature “Slater Dance” from the original SBTB in the Peacock reboot! Mario’s dance style isn’t super flashy, but he’s also not afraid to showcase his talent. From quick steps to precision arm movements, he knows what he’s doing and how to execute each move effortlessly.
Speaking of the Saved by the Bell reboot, the second season was just released on Peacock. And yes, the original gang is back together again: A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez), Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley), Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen), and even Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies). Mario posted a BTS video of their reunion to his Instagram.
With the reboot out for its second season on Peacock, Mario’s got some more time on his hands. He and his family – wife Courtney, kids Gia, Dominic, and Santino – are vacationing in Mexico right now. Always one to be active on social media, Mario’s been posting up a storm from their trip, from drinks with his wife, to hanging out with his kids on the beach.
