Hallmark Channel is continuing their annual Countdown to Christmas event with the premiere of Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater tonight. The all-new holiday film stars Ashley Williams and Niall Matter, and is sure to be a unique, fun flick for everyone to enjoy. Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater follows Maggie (Ashley Williams), who’s a single mom that’s spending Christmas alone this year, as her daughter is away at her father’s. When Maggie injures an architect named Lucas (Niall Matter) with her Christmas tree, she invites him to recuperate at her house, and he accepts. As the holiday grows closer, so do Maggie and Lucas, but will a misunderstanding tear apart their bond before it’s had a chance to grow?
Fans of Hallmark movies will recognize both Ashley Williams and Niall Matter, as the two have starred in not only holiday-themed films, but other seasonal romance flicks for the network. A few of Ashley’s include: the Christmas in Evergreen trilogy, Holiday Hearts, and October Kiss. Some of Niall’s are: Christmas in Dollywood, the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries series, and Country at Heart.
Other credits to Ashley’s name include roles on The Jim Gaffigan Show and How I Met Your Mother. She most recently starred in the Lifetime true crime film, Chris Watts: Confessions of a Killer as Shan’Ann Watts. Some of Niall’s other notable works are recurring roles on 90210, Melrose Place, and When Calls the Heart.

Ashley Williams even posted a fun Instagram shouting out her co-star Niall Matter (he doesn’t have social media) featuring their face shields from set!
