The boys in the band are back – finally! Donnie, Jordan, Jonathan, Danny, and Joey have a big announcement to make on the Kelly Clarkson Show this Monday, October 4th.
Their loyal fanbase affectionately called, the blockheads have been patiently waiting for their favorite band to come back and perform. They were shut down like many other bands across the world due to the COVID pandemic restrictions.
Just over the summer, New Kids on the Block did get back out on the stage for a handful of shows on the east coast. One was at Fenway Park in Boston which drew huge crowds! The guys were thrilled to be back out not only on the stage again but to be back performing in their hometown.
Maybe you were there or you missed it – nonetheless, you can relive it all over again with this video below!
Not to worry, if you couldn’t attend their summer shows on the east coast, you’re in luck. The New Kids on the Block are going on a 2022 Tour! The big announcement will be made on the Kelly Clarkson Show on Monday, October 4th. If you’re part of the fanclub, pre-sales begin next Thursday, October 7th.
In a sneak peek of what’s to come, you see the guys come out in sparkly silver jackets with an embroidered B, black jeans, and sneakers.
It also looks like they are going to do their infamous dance to their hit, “The Right Stuff.”
Donnie Wahlberg promoted the upcoming appearance on his Twitter, saying “It means watch the special @kellyclarkson Block Party Episode of @KellyClarksonTV on Monday and you’ll find out what was up my sleeve. Hence the coy “look” on my face.”
The official NKOTB Twitter profile called out the “block party episode.” They said, ” New Kids on the Block@NKOTB·Tune into @Kellyclarksontv on Monday to watch our NKOTB Block Party episode with special surprises & guests!
