Olivia Rodrigo and the cast of High School Musical: The Series is gearing up for the release of season 2 coming out on Disney Plus this week! Olivia has been busy with press interviews to promote the new season. She sat down with Seventeen Magazine from her home to answer 17 burning questions.
The Drivers License singer revealed one thing she does every single year on her birthday that she can’t live without. Her birthday is February 20th. She just turned 18 years old this past February. We now know how she celebrated!
Olivia revealed to Seventeen Magazine that every year she orders macaroni & cheese, bread, and coke from The Macaroni Grill! We think she must be referring to the Signature Truffle Mac + Cheese on the Macaroni Grill’s menu, which consists of: penne, asiago, fontina, smoked mozzarella, cheddar, pecorino, truffle oil, herbed breadcrumbs. Yum, now we’re hungry!
Here is a photo from her 2021 birthday. Olivia sported a long flowing black and white polka dot dress. She captioned the photo, “thank u all for the birthday wishes! I’m on my adult s*** now it’s crazy!”
Olivia confessed that anytime she feels sad, she asks her mother if they can go to The Macaroni Grill to order her favorite meal. So it’s also a good comfort meal!

Olivia’s Best Advice..
When Seventeen asked, what is the best thing your parents taught you? Olivia goes “aww, I love my parents. They have absolutely sacrificed everything to help me follow my dreams, while applying no pressure, giving me the space to do whatever I need.” She continued, “more recently they have been teaching me not to take things personally and to recognize that how people react to you has everything to do with them and nothing to do with you.”
Powerful words! Check out the full interview with Olivia here.
HSM: The Series season 2 begins streaming on Disney + Friday, May 14, 2021.
