Only Murders in the Building stars Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short as three strangers who share an obsession with true crime. When they find out that their Upper West Side apartment building is the crime scene of a gruesome murder, they band together to investigate. They record a podcast to document everything, which leads to a lot of discoveries about the case, but also about their newfound friendship. Soon, the trio realizes that a killer may be living among them as they get closer to the truth.

According to Hulu’s official press site, Steve Martin is playing Charles, a wannabe detective who documents clues alongside his favorite podcasts. Martin Short portrays Oliver, a well-known theater director who’s trying to reconnect with his family. Selena Gomez is Mabel, a young woman full of mystery and contradiction, who unexpectedly bonds with her neighbors-turned-friends, Charles and Oliver.
