Hallmark Movies & Mysteries just announced a movie development deal with Susan Lucci, one of the most recognized daytime actresses in the world.
Lucci is not only set to star in the new original mystery movie, but she will be credited as an executive producer as well.
Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Network Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks said, “We are excited to bring her creative storytelling, enthusiasm and passion for television to our viewers and bring her perspective to the mystery genre.”
The movie is based on the novel Charley’s Web by Joy Fielding and will follow a columnist who uncovers the truth behind crimes in the local community.
Prior to Susan stepping out on the purple carpet at Hallmark’s Summer TCA’s, she teased a big announcement on her Instagram saying, “Arriving in LA! Exciting announcement at tomorrow night event—stay tuned!”
