MTV’s Siesta Key brought drama, style and fun in the sun thanks to a group of Sarasota, Florida’s elite. The show catapulted the college-aged kids to bonafide reality stars overnight after the 2017 premiere. Since then, there have been numerous changes, from past exes to new faces in the cast. The reality show has five seasons under its belt, and we’ve got updates on where the cast members are now. Juliette Porter
Juliette Porter was the “Queen of Siesta Key” during the show’s run. The 26-year-old founded JMP: The Label in 2021 and moved to Miami during the season 5 of Siesta Key to further her business’ success. Her romantic relationships (Alex, Garrett, Robbie and Sam) were spotlit on the show as well, but it seems her last relationship with Clark Drum ended in May 2023. So, for now, she’s focused on being a businesswoman.
Kelsey Owens
Kelsey Owens was known as the “new girl” when the show first premiered. She had a relationship with former co-star Garrett Miller during season 1, and then they rekindled their romance briefly in season 3 before calling it quits for good. Since 2020, Kelsey has been dating Max Strong, and the two recently got engaged during their trip to Greece. In addition, Kelsey briefly had her own line of swimwear and loungewear, but ultimately decided in season 4 to hit the brakes. In August 2022, Kelsey revealed she was cut from Siesta Key season 5 in the middle of filming; she was only featured a few times during the season. Nowadays, she and Max focus on their photography and travel businesses; Owens also keeps up brand partnerships on Instagram as an influencer.
Madisson Hausburg
Madisson Hausburg once dated former co-star Alex Kompothecras in high school, and their history was a subject on season 1 of Siesta Key. She then moved on to date Brandon Gomes, but after their fallout, she began dating former Siesta Key producer Ismael Soto. Their relationship had fans and cast mates divided due to the age difference, but the two proved that love prevails when they announced their 2020 engagement and 2021 pregnancy. The two married in October 2021; sadly, their son Elliot was stillborn in December of that year. But, in July 2023, Madisson and Ish announced their second pregnancy; their baby is due in 2024.
Chloe Trautman
Chloe Trautman was quite the pot stirrer when Siesta Key first premiered. However, these days the 28-year-old is mellowed out and enjoying life with husband Chris Long. The two had a whirlwind romance, getting engaged in November 2021 and married in February 2022. In September 2023, Chloe took to Instagram to announce that she was pregnant this summer, but had recently lost the baby due to miscarriage. In May 2022, Chloe founded Emerald Ray Botanicals, a natural skincare line.
Brandon Gomes
Brandon Gomes has always been the musician of the Siesta Key bunch. His passion for rap music came to fruition on the show, and he’s made a successful career out of it. Additionally, Gomes launched Siesta G Dispensary, and opened his first storefront in August 2023. His romantic entanglements were seen on the series as well, including relationships with co-stars Madisson Hausburg and Camilla Cattaneo. In 2020 during a Siesta Key reunion, it was revealed Brandon fathered a child with Delainey Shae. Son Quincy was featured on the series as Brandon and Delainey tried to co-parent their child together. Since then, Brandon’s continued recording music, including a song on season 5 with Teenear.
Garrett Miller
Garrett Miller ran with the original cast of Siesta Key since their high school days. He introduced then-girlfriend Kelsey Owens to the group during season 1 of Siesta Key. The duo were an on-again, off-again couple; in-between, Garrett struck up a relationship with cast mate Cara Geswelli. In 2020, he began dating Makenna Quesenberry, and the two were engaged by November 2021. In May 2022, he announced that he was not asked back for Siesta Key season 5, so his show experience ended with season 4. Happier times were ahead though when Garrett and Makenna married on March 3, 2023. Aside from romance, Miller’s always been known for his enviable fitness routine, and works as a personal trainer and consultant.
Cara Geswelli
Cara Geswelli came on to Siesta Key during season 2 as Alex Kompo’s ex-girlfriend and a “rival” to Juliette Porter. But, as the seasons progressed, she became known for her sassy personality and relationship with Garrett Miller. Although she left in the midst of season 3 due to drama, Geswelli returned for season 4 of Siesta Key and was promoted to the main cast for season 5. She attended nursing school and currently runs a jewelry company with her sister, Mia. Cara’s been dating boyfriend Michael Wheary for a little over 3 years now.
Amanda Miller
Amanda Miller has been a mainstay since Siesta Key began. Her titles have changed throughout the years: she went from being known as Chloe’s BFF, to Brandon’s fling, to a featured cast member during the second half of season 3 (although, she wasn’t featured on the promotional poster until season 4). Her flirty nature got the attention of her co-stars, as she also was linked to Will Gray and Tate Sweatt. But, her most prolific relationship was with on-again, off-again boyfriend JJ Mizell. The two dated prior to Siesta Key, rekindled things during season 3, only to call it quits in 2020. In May 2023, Amanda and JJ reunited and things got serious fast for the couple when Amanda announced her pregnancy in September. She’s currently preparing for motherhood and has a successful filmmaker career.
Sam Logan
Sam Logan originally became part of Siesta Key due to his relationship with main cast member Juliette Porter. The pair dated for almost two years before ending their romance in 2021. Logan became a main cast member in the show’s fourth season, and his blurred lines friendship/relationship with Jordana Barnes came into focus during season 5. The two lived together during filming in Miami, and even kissed during the show’s penultimate episode. While feelings were admitted, the duo never officially became a couple. Sam’s relationship and subsequent breakup with Meghan Bischoff was also seen on season 5 of Siesta Key: Miami Moves. Sam’s wealth has allowed him to invest in business, including a faux fur line with Jordana. He has two French bulldogs named Tofu and Chickpea.
Alex Kompothecras
Alex Kompothecras, aka: Alex Kompo, was the “King of Siesta Key” since he was dating Juliette Porter at the time of the show’s 2017 premiere. He kept in close contact with ex-girlfriend Madisson Hausburg, much to Juliette’s chagrin…and hooked up with Amanda Miller while he and Porter were still dating. His hookups with Kelsey Owens and flirtations with ex Cara Geswelli were also seen on the series. In 2019, Kompothecras began dating girlfriend Alyssa Salerno, and in December of that year, announced a baby girl was on the way. Daughter Alessi arrived in June 2020, and Alex and Alyssa remain together today. During the middle of season 3, MTV announced it was cutting ties with Alex Kompo due to racial comments, and the remainder of the season was re-edited without him. Post-Siesta Key, Alex did get his law degree and works at Alpha Law Group.
Jordana Barnes
Jordana Barnes was a friend of Sam Logan’s and first appeared on season 4 of Siesta Key to paint a portrait of Juliette. Her outspoken personality often put her at odds with Juliette, who was dating Sam at the time. But, by season 5, Barnes had become a main cast member and lived with Sam in Miami, Florida. Her artwork was featured on the show, and her family appeared in a couple episodes as well, including a tribute to her late brother, Brenden. Jordana has an art page on Instagram where she continues to post her work. Currently, she’s traveling the world and spending time with her family and friends.
Makenna Quesenberry
Makenna Quesenberry wasn’t on Siesta Key for very long, but she sure made an impact during season 4. She was first introduced to fans as Garrett’s girlfriend during the group trip to Palm Island. In 2021, after a little over a year of dating, Makenna and Garrett were engaged. The two were married in March 2023 and spent their honeymoon traveling abroad in Europe. Now, she continues to create content for her 142,000 Instagram followers and posts weekly YouTube videos featuring her and Garrett’s travels, life, home and more.
Camilla Cattaneo
Camilla Cattaneo appeared on seasons 2-4 of Siesta Key. She had an on-again, off-again relationship with Brandon Gomes, which was featured prominently during season 3. Cattaneo had a brief relationship with cast mate Will Gray, as fans saw in season 4, but things quickly fizzled out. In August 2023, Camilla finished her bachelors degree in health sciences and runs a wellness recipe brand @millaswellnessrecipe. Prior to that, she had a clothing line called Babes Haven. Since April 2022, Camila’s been in a relationship with boyfriend Bradley Knotts.
Canvas Brummel
Canvas Brummel was part of the season 2 cast of MTV’s Siesta Key. She was originally seen as a rival to Madisson Hausburg, since she flirted with her then-boyfriend Brandon Gomes. Then, in a surprising twist, Brummel got flirty with Hausburg’s sister, Paige. Canvas was also good friends with Chloe Trautman, and even worked at the Tiki Bar with her. Nowadays, Canvas is on TikTok and OnlyFans, and does modeling for photoshoots.
Robby Hayes
Robby Hayes was famous prior to joining Siesta Key season 3 because of his appearance on The Bachelorette. Hayes met Juliette Porter in April 2019, and the fast-paced romance caused discussion amongst her co-stars. The pair only dated for about 3 months before things ended in July of that year. Currently, he works as a real estate agent for Berkshire Hathaway HS, and still owns the Rebella agency. It also appears that he’s single.
