The Christmas Bow: Is Kate a Real Violinist on the Hallmark Movie?

Lucia Micarelli and Michael Rady star in “The Christmas Bow,” a Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original movie, airing Sunday November 8th.

Lucia plays Kate, a promising musician whose dream is to play in the Rocky Mountain Philharmonic. However, that dream is put on hold when Kate suffers a sudden accident. When Kate reconnects with Patrick (Rady), an old friend of the family and his cousin Gavin, she may also find love in someone who truly believes in her.

Kate played by Lucia Micarelli is in fact a real life professional violinist! She is best known for her collaborations with Josh Groban, Chris Botti, and Jethro Tull. Lucia was born in Queens, New York and began playing the violin at the tender age of three.
