Hallmark’s Movies & Mysteries Channel is continuing with their Miracles of Christmas event with the premiere of an all-new movie, Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas. The film will premiere this weekend, and was actually inspired by The Voice judge Blake Shelton’s song of the same name. If you’re curious to learn more about the holiday film, including who’s who in the cast, what it’s about, etc., then keep reading below.
Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas Plot + Cast
Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas is a mystery within a Christmas movie, as it centers around five guests who end up being connected in ways they never imagined. Those five guests, including Sarah (Lacey Chabert) are all staying at the Snowfall Inn, and she seeks help from the inn’s handsome owner, Ben (Stephen Huszar) to find out why they’ve all been invited there for the holidays. Lini Evans and Leon Robinson also star; Blake Shelton is an executive producer.
Lacey Chabert is probably best known for her role as Gretchen Wieners in the iconic 2000’s film Mean Girls, or her lead in the FOX series Party of Five. She’s since been in a slew of other television and film roles, including a bunch of Hallmark movies. Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas marks her tenth holiday film for the network; she also starred in Christmas Waltz this year.
Stephen Huszar is a Canadian actor that’s known for his recurring role in the comedy series Letterkenny, as well as guest spots on CW series The Flash, Supernatural, and Smallville. He’s no stranger to Hallmark Channel either, having done their Ruby Herring Mysteries series, plus A Homecoming for the Holidays and Return to Christmas Creek.
You may have seen their costars Lini Evans in Hallmark’s Mr. Darcy films, and Leon Robinson in a recurring role on CBS’ Blue Bloods.
