Too Hot to Handle Season 2: 5 Fun Facts You Need to Know

Netflix’s original steamy romantic reality show, Too Hot to Handle is a guilty summer pleasure for many! This summer we get to meet a whole new group of sexy singles looking for love in a tropical location. But there’s a catch. The only way the group will get the big grand prize money is if they keep their hands to themselves and fight the temptations! Every time they give in, money is deducted from the grand prize…and nobody wants that.

1. There is a Pro Football Player in the Cast

Too Hot to Handle welcomes a new group of 10 singles. Amongst them is a professional football player. His name is Chase Demoor. There was a recent headline that declared, “Arizona Rattlers have signed defensive lineman Chase Demoor for the 2021 Indoor Football League season.”

2. The Cast Hails from All Over the World

The contestants are joining Too Hot to Handle from all over the world! Cam is from Newport, UK, Kayla is from Jacksonville, Florida and Marvin is from Paris, France. Marvin declared, ‘the french king is in the building.” Harry Jowsey who hooked up with Francesca from season 1 was quick to comment on the Instagram post. He wrote “king” with the crown emoji.

3. They are Filming in the Tropics

The cast is filming the addictive romance reality show on the beautiful island of Turks and Caicos. In a photo posted to the Too Hot to Handle Instagram profile, they show a plane ticket to the tropical island with the caption, “warning: dry spells ahead.”

4. Too Hot to Handle Contestants Are Never Alone

Are you curious as to whether the cast can sneak away or not? The answer is no. People are paid to keep a close eye on the singles. As temptations arise, the cast is more likely to hook up equaling a big money loss for the group. The producers won’t take any chances. They listen closely to bathroom mics to make sure they aren’t missing anything that could inflict a violation!

5. You Won’t See All Episodes at Once

Unlike many Netflix shows and Too Hot to Handle season 1, they won’t be releasing all 10 episodes on one day. I know, it’s a bummer for a lot of viewers who like to binge the whole season in a night but the decision makers at Netflix want to try something different. Netflix’s VP of unscripted and documentary series Brandon Riggs, said: “We’re experimenting with the release format so you have time to dissect and dish on every step of the competition as it unfolds.” Four episodes will release on June 23rd while the rest will come out on June 30th.

Too Hot to Handle drops on Netflix June 23rd.
