<p class="has-text-align-center"><strong>Fun in the Valli at Mohegan Sun</strong></p>



<p>Bringing back the 60&#8217;s to one of the best arenas for concerts, the Sun Arena at the Mohegan Sun. It holds 10,000 people and has been the stomping grounds for headliners such as the Jonas Brothers, Britney Spears, and Mariah Carey. This time a legend would be in the house. His name is Frankie Valli, the man famous for songs like &#8220;Sherry,&#8221; &#8220;Big Girls Don&#8217;t Cry,&#8221; and of course &#8220;December 1963 &#8211; Oh What a Night.&#8221; 7:00 pm rolled around and the house was packed. Filled with mostly the Baby Boomer Generation but you did also see a &#8220;smattering&#8221; (like that word?) of the younger crowd in the stands. Hey, this music is for every age. The fact that Frankie still has his music loved by scores of people simply attests to the fact that it is multi-generational. You can have fun with it whether you&#8217;re 15 or 60.</p>



<p>On to your favorite parts! Highlights and Lowlights, maybe some in betweens?</p>



<p><strong>Highlights:</strong><strong><br>
The Overall Music:</strong> This is music that will put a smile on your face. From the very first note until the last, Frankie, his Four Seasons, and of course the band behind him will take you to another place. You will forget that you are even in an arena with 10,000 other people surrounding you, until the song ends and everyone erupts in applause.</p>



<p><strong>Quote Alert:</strong> ;Roger, from Connecticut, a  ;friend of ours was impressed with the music after the concert and mentioned how &#8220;you don&#8217;t hear those harmonies and voices anymore in the current music of today.&#8221;</p>



<p><strong>Toledo, Ohiooooooooooooooooooooo!</strong> &#8211; Todd Fournier one of the seasons had tremendous energy up on that Sun Arena stage. We really enjoyed watching him give it his all and then some as he danced, sang, and announced Toledo, Ohio in a way that nobody has EVER heard. If you were there, you know what we mean!</p>



<p><strong>Brass Band</strong> &#8211; the &#8220;NY Trumpet&#8221; team was on spot! Their solos and group effort on &#8220;Swearin&#8217; to God&#8221; had everyone on the edges of their seats. The music was beautiful.</p>



<p><strong>Too Funny</strong> &#8211; Frankie Valli the comedian? Well maybe! He was funny up there as he began to introduce his new cd which is &#8220;Romancing the 60&#8217;s&#8221; and he explained his story of how he decided on creating remakes of these songs. Frankie said, &#8221; I was trying to decide on some songs and just couldn&#8217;t see myself remaking (imitates the sound of a current song) &#8220;I&#8217;m grinding up on my baby&#8230;&#8221; so I decided for the songs of the 60&#8217;s. The crowd laughed at that one.</p>



<p><strong>Lowlights</strong></p>



<p><strong>Swearin&#8217; to God</strong> &#8211; Something was missing in the beginning of this song. The guys hit the stage, dancing it out, but somehow a part of the music was missing which caused the musical ears to wonder what went wrong.</p>



<p><strong>Clap, clap, clap some more</strong> &#8211; &#8220;Spanish Harlem&#8221; is a song that will have you clapping along with the rest of the band, in rhythm. ; However, the song just feels a bit too long. ; Maybe it&#8217;s because we&#8217;re clapping the whole time or &#8230; no, I think that&#8217;s probably it. ;</p>



<p><strong>Speakers breaking down?</strong> The sound system at the Sun Arena is always clear and strong. Well that night we heard on a few occasions, a number of high pitched sounds squeaking during their songs.</p>



<p>Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is a show to see. ;They will be performing all over the country so be sure to catch them when they stop by. Let us know what you think!</p>
