On Friday, April 7, 2023, Cincha, a company that makes a hands-free travel belts, appeared on Shark Tank. The company’s founders, James and Ashley, pitched their business to the sharks and asked for an investment of $200,000 in exchange for 15% equity.
The sharks were impressed with Cincha’s product and business model. They liked that the product was simple, yet effective, and that the company had a strong online presence. However, they were hesitant to invest because they were concerned about the company’s valuation.
In the end, Barbara Corcoran made an offer of $200,000 in exchange for 25% equity. James and Ashley accepted the offer, and Cincha is now a part of the Shark Tank family along with Parting Stone.

With the help of their new investor, Barbara Corcoran, Cincha Travel Belts is poised for growth. The company plans to use the investment to expand its marketing and distribution efforts. It also plans to develop new products and accessories. They are currently available to buy on Amazon, in a variety of colors.
