Tyler Stanaland is Netflix‘s next big thing thanks to his debut on Selling the OC. The newly minted reality star is shaking things up on the small screen with his fellow real estate co-stars on the Selling Sunset spinoff. Get to know more about Tyler below, including his age, occupation, relationship, etc.
1) Tyler Stanaland is 33 years old and his birthday is on July 19.
2) According to the Oppenheim Group website, he’s a “fifth-generation realtor and fourth-generation Laguna Beach native.” He obtained his sales license at 18 years old while working for his family brokerage.
3) It was after that he transitioned back to real estate and is known for working wonders in the luxury market. Tyler really understands coastal properties, making him perfect for selling real estate in Orange County. It’s that kind of expertise that shines on Netflix’s Selling the OC.
4) He’s really close to his father John and his younger brother Trevor. John runs the eponymous real estate group, where he’s sold property in Laguna Beach and all around the OC for years. And yes, Tyler’s brother Trevor works in real estate too, alongside John.
5) One activity the guys enjoy doing as a family? Fishing!
6) He began dating Pitch Perfect actress Brittany Snow in 2018. A year later, Tyler proposed, and in March of 2020, they were married.
7) Tyler’s pretty private about his relationship, although he did write a sweet tribute to Brittany last February. “From across the room or across the world, no one I’d rather do all of it with,” he wrote on Instagram.
8) When Tyler’s not working, he can usually be found surfing. He also enjoys biking with friends, boating, and traveling to new, exotic, unique places.
9) Tyler has an adorable dog named Charlie, who’s a rescue from Wagmor Pets Dog Rescue. Taking walks along the beach is a pastime they do together. In April, Tyler celebrated Charlie’s first birthday, writing: “From Bakersfield to the beach. Happy 1st birthday to the best 5lbs there ever was 🎂.”
